Sloppy Joes














Beef - 2-3 lbs
assorted peppers -5-6 ( small ones)
1 - onion
garlic cloves -5-6 minced
ketchup - 3-/4 cup ( if you can't handle the sweet taste go for 1/4 Hot chili ketchup and 1/2 normal Ketchup)
Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
Chilli powder - 2 teaspoons
Pepper powder 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon
Red pepper flakes - 1/2 - 1 teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce - 5-6 dashes
Tobasco sauce - a few dashes
Salt - taste
Butter - 1/4 stick














Brown the ground beef.
Drain off the fat.
Add the onions and chopped peppers
Add the minced garlic
Add the ketchup and sauté. If it starts sticking add 1/2 cup water
Stir well.
Then add the brown sugar, chili poser, pepper powder, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce, salt.
Cook on medium low covered for 15-20 minutes.
Add butter on the skillet and brown the rolls or bun.
Sppon in the meat mixture. Enjoy it with some chips :-)
